Product reviewed: Symply Adult lamb & rice

They were very helpful and informative when I phoned them for more information to help me decide which food to feed. It is the product that sorted out my dog's itching problem which was likely to have been caused by an allergy to wheat gluten. It is definitely one of the products to consider, especially if you suspect your dog has an allergy or intolerance.

This is a hypoallergenic dog food which means that it is less likely to cause allergic reactions.

It has one of the highest meat content of the dog foods reviewed. Symply Lamb & Rice is free of artificial colours, flavourings and preservatives. Free of GM ingredients. Free of wheat gluten and dairy.

Of all the products examined, this was the one with the highest levels of linoleic acid (provides omega 6 content) which is a key factor in healthy skin and coat.

It is preserved naturally with mixed tocopherols (which are a blend of vitamin E)

The only comment is that it is high in rice content - i.e. White Rice + Rice Bran + Rice Flour. Not too much of a concern as rice is highly digestible and the meat content is high especially when you consider it's measured in its dried form.

Summary:
This dog food really does tick all the boxes with the highest linoleic acid (omega 6) content of all the super premiums. Free of all nasties and very likely to sort out those itching dog problems associated with food intolerances and allergies. High lamb content.
